Day 195 – This reading blows me away. Rolf begins: “Out of the pain of where we have been, many of us come to the mat i a hurry. Our self-study has revealed a universe of pain and loss, while at the same time it has intiimated that there is a better way.” The essence is that less is more and we need to slow down to speed up the healing. Rolf ends with the acknowledgement that the pain we wish “to escape is everywhere.” This harkens back to the idea that yoga is a process, a journey, with no fix destination. We are a boat floating upon a river with two shores in sight. Rather than paddle toward either one, why not let the current takes us wherever it does?
